Description in the Flos Olei guide

This farm has reached such a good level over the years to be one of the top in the world. Also the present performance is up to our expectations. Run by Enio Zubin since 2000, it is situated in Umag, a little town and port in the north-western part of the Istrian coast. The estate consists of 50 hectares of specialized olive grove with 10.000 trees. In the last harvest 750 quintals of olives and 90 hectolitres of oil were produced.

We recommend the very good Extra Virgin selection Oio de Buščina - Črnica from Organic Farming, which is an intense limpid golden yellow colour with delicate green hues. Its aroma is ample and rotund, rich in vegetal notes of artichoke, wild chicory and lettuce, together with hints of aromatic herbs, especially mint and rosemary. Its taste is exuberant and strong, with a spicy flavour of black pepper and a strong almond finish. Bitterness is distinct and pungency is definite and well balanced.
