The Adriatic golf course in Savudrija is an 18-hole, par 72 course opened in 2009, known for its scenic Mediterranean landscape and proximity to the sea. It offers a challenging golfing experience year-round, integrated into a luxury resort environment.
The Adriatic golf course is located in Savudrija and near the town of Umag and it is a part of the luxury hotel and a tourist resort offer. According to many golfers, the wavy course and almost idyllic landscape provide the golf club Adriatic course with real charm and challenge. Golf Adriatic course was opened in 2009, with 18 holes, 6360 meters long, settled on 80 acres and with PAR 72.
Course was designed by the DI. Diethard Fahrenleitner and DI. Barbara Eisserer, who assigned the Austrian Golf Art Landscape award. They really paid attention to fit it perfectly in the natural surroundings making a real small natural park.
On golf course, as well as on all courses by the sea, the wind can play a significant role, along with strategically placed bunkers and skillfully crafted greens. Course is literally blended into the landscape, shaped the rocks, natural ponds and evergreen vegetation, which is typical for the Mediterranean region.
The thing that particularly differs the Savudrija-Salvore golf course from the others is its position. Located less than 300 m from the sea and immersed in the natural context it is undoubtedly interesting, it's a place where you can play golf 365 days a year. Beside the sea view, Adriatic golf club offers a great panoramic view on typical Mediterranean landscape of vineyards, olive groves and evergreen vegetation.
