Description in the Flos Olei guide

Present again in our Guide, the farm owned by Mario Crnobori has been active since 2005 in Banjole, a fraction of the much better known Medulin, among the most popular tourist destinations in the south of the peninsula. It is a small estate consisting of 2 hectares of specialized olive grove with 390 trees of numerous local and imported varieties. In the last harvest 11 quintals of olives were produced, which allowed to yield almost 2 hectolitres of extra virgin olive oil.

We recommend the Monocultivar Extra Virgin Banjolac - Istarska Bjelica, which is a light limpid golden yellow colour. Its aroma is definite and rotund, characterized by hints of aromatic herbs, especially mint and rosemary, and spicy notes of cinnamon and black pepper. Its taste is robust and fine, with a vegetal flavour of artichoke, chicory and lettuce, together with strong final notes of sweet almond. Bitterness is powerful and pungency is distinct and harmonic.
